I'm sorry you are going through this frightening thing, but seems to me you
were doing better untill the extra stress of a major bout of 'flu threw your
whole metabolism out of whack and probably messed up the levels of the meds
you take, precipitating the major siezure.

Is there something you can take when you get auras to head off a siezure?

Hang in there Janey; things have got to get better when you get over the
'flu.
