I think most of us has tried to give people the "benefit of the doubt" over
time in all the newsgroups, Matt. Some of us have been in newsgroups for
many years, I've been in them for 8 years now myself. And as we go we see
how people are, the patterns they leave from one group to the next.....my
point being that some us just feel like we know a troll or an energy sucker
when we see one and we do whatever we need to do to protect ourselves.
Whether Jaime is a troll or just a truly needy person is of no consequence
to me. For me, he just behaves in a way that I just don't feel the need to
continue to try to "help" him because truly, I think he just wants something
to whine about. Quite a few people have tried to suggest things, he shoots
them all down and continues to whine. Who needs that? Certainly not me.
Each of us have to decide who we wish to interact with here in this group,
it's the individuals choice, is it not? If you want to participate in a
discussion, aren't you free to do so? On the same token, each of us should
be allowed to not participate as we see fit without being criticized for it.
Especially when I'm in alot of pain as I am nowadays ( I was diagnosed with
shingles today:-( I just don't have the patience for people like that.
