Not complaining because I skip many post,
Ok just like here we never really stay focused on just on topic or subject
so if you post here and crosspost to let's say alt.sleep.problems or what
ever group (We AMF) are going to get a whole bunch of replies that do not
really pertain to us because those of us who have CFS FMS have a totally
different sleep problem unlike those with let's say apnea.
And now we have a tone of threads where they explain apnea to us and we
have to explain FMS and how the sleep problems differ and as to why.
As to what a "me too" is. Let's say I add in this post that is crossposted
"I like Cheerio's"
Then we get a bunch of "me too's" or post why that person hates Cheerio's.
Some people are on dialup and it takes time to download the post and don't
want to DL a bunch of post they don't need to read that contain just a "me
too".
Some of us download our post and then reply offline and post them when we
sign back on also.
People in the UK for example pay for bandwith and some use cellular to
download so it adds to the cost.
Most of us also snip all the replies except for the last response to save on
downloading the whole thread in one post.
There are no set rules in each group, just what a majority of the posters
like to see in that group.
In some groups you will get flamed for top posting and in others they
preffer top post like an Email reply.
Because of Fibro Fog most of us in this group post between the replies so we
can remember what the heck we wanted to reply to. Is this appropriate? Well
for this group it is but not in others.

Ok here's something relevant, We share our personal lives here also.
I just bought a Chevy Blazer 4x4 and want to tell you guys. To save time
I'll crosspost it to alt.trucks.chevy because I want my chevy buds to know
also.
Now people here are going to reply nice Dave, good luck with it.
Next the Chevy guys reply (Crossposted) what size tires, motor and color and
all that. Now do you think anyone in AMF besides me cares about that?
Avoid posting to multiple newsgroups.
Few things annoy Usenet readers as much as multiple copies of a posting
appearing in multiple newsgroups (called "spamming"). A posting that is
cross-posted (i.e. lists multiple newsgroups on the Newsgroups: header line)
to a few appropriate newsgroups is fine, but even with cross-posts,
restraint is advised.
Seeing you are posting Via Google I pulled this from the FAQ they wrote.

I hope you don't think this was a flame or a slam. Hell I took more time to
explain this than I do other things in here. LOL
