Yan, we used to have one of these Winter letters about a southerner who
moved to New England. It was funny then and it's still funny now. You
have to find the humor in it or you really will kill the plow guy!
BTW I bought a solution that you spray on the bare ground before the
snow fall and it keeps it from sticking, Supposedly a 10 inch snow fall
will melt down to about three inches, it melts snow and ice. So I paid
over 40 bucks for a gallon of this and a power sprayer. My son in law
came home from his hardware store and said he had ordered a bunch of
the stuff, and he paid only $8/gallon. Sobbing and wailing could be
heard all over the neighborhood. And the stuff did work.--fran
