OT Plane Crash

My brother in law was the pilot in this crash. My husband and
daughter are going to CA in the morning. My SIL has no family out
there, and I agreed to let daughter go because of her cousin who she is
very close with and close in age. The school said that because of her
grades they didn't foresee any problem in her missing school for a week.

We found out last evening by way of daughters AIM, my niece in CA
was messaging us for help as officials were at the house telling SIL
what happened. It was strange communicating with her at that time by
way of computer. I did my best to try and acknowledge any feelings she
may be having and stuff like that, hoping it would be helpful. I felt
so helpless.

And the airlines! Highway robbery; the fares are going up by the
hundreds of dollars by the minute. I got a quote for $479 at one and
when I called back 30 minutes later that flight now was going at $806!!

Please pray for my SIL and niece.

Two die in small plane crash near Mammoth Lakes

MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. - A small plane crashed near the Mammoth
Lakes area Monday, killing two people, authorities said.

Witnesses contacted the Mono County Sheriff's Department after
hearing the plane sputter and seeing it spiral toward the ground.

Rescuers found the wreckage at the top of Sherwin Grade. The
victims were not immediately identified.

The plane was believed to have left Riverside heading north toward
the Mammoth Lakes area when it crashed shortly before noon, the Mono
County Sheriff's Department said.

The National Transportation Safety Board will arrive Tuesday to
investigate the crash.
