Re: I feel like I am dying

Melissa,
I have had this before when started on a new med, but I am on the same
medication for many years now and have not had a dosage change in quite a
while.
A few weeks ago, I had the same thing happen, but I had taken a muscle
relaxer that the dr gave me, called Flexeral ?.
He warned me that it would make me drossy when he rx'ed it. So I knew what
to expect, although I did not think I would sleep 18 hours from it.
When I first started on narcotics, I would take 5 hour naps in the
afternoon. But that was years ago.

It appears that this is a temporary state. I was awake longer yesterday
than in the last 3 days combined.
I now wake to take my morning dose and sit wide awake until the pain starts
to subside, usually about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Then I fall back to sleep
until around 11 or noon.
Then I normally take a normal length nap in the afternoon, if I am not
working on the house.

My daughter moves out tomorrow and I will have a month or so before the
other one moves back in. (she is switching universities). So for the next
month I will have half the garage set up as a workshop. I should be able to
finish the woodwork on the house. As I will not have to set up, break down
and clean the garage each day, so the cars can be parked inside. My power
tools are heavy and the setup and break down takes more energy than anything
else. As I am using ALL power tools the only real work is the bending down
and standing up again all the time.
I have finished most of the hardest work already. I hope.

Btw, my wife forbid me to die, at least until this phase of the upgrades are
complete. She thinks that she needs me, but she is so wrong. she is fully
capable of handling everything on her own. But that is a different post

Going back to bed now. Later
