I don't use talk about. Heard about it from Rosie and others who are
happily using it. I have comcast and use their newsgroup server.

Don't know nuthin' 'bout the cookies. Sounded like it worked like
individual.net, where you signed up, they emailed you a user name and
password and you were all set. I used individual.net and was very happy
with it but then then weren't free anymore so chose to deal with
comcast's sign up even though I don't use OE or the stuff they want me
to be using.

If you get http://www.mailwasher.net/ then you can take care of spam
before it hits your inbox. Alex uses it and I discovered ppl I talk
with about geanalogy in Australia and other places were also using it.

I was using it till I switched to comcast's incoming mail which gives me
the option to delete as spam that which is!

I'm just sayin' ...
