yup, what rosie said :-)
and FEMA was very good to us, the helped with reimbursing me for having to
evacuate, and helped pay for our generator. that generator helped thru the
last 2 'canes last year, cuz trying to keep food cold/frozen in ice chests
is just a PITB. and the pleasures of a hot cup of coffee in the morning
were just what was neeeded
the volunteers themselves, can always use a hot meal, cold drink or soft
place to sleep. these folks work hard at search & rescue, medical teams, and
whatever else is needed.
for the folks who are without homes, i am hoping they can find someplace
soon to house these folks...there is no worse feeling than being sooo
hepless to do anything to help yourself
