I had a thought while in the garden today; Have you thought about trying
Ruby Lane and/or The Internet Antique Store? They're more expensive
than eBay, but it also seems like they command higher prices.
They've been around forever, so they must have some customers somewhere.
In the categories that I dabble in, sellers on TIA are not the most
knowledgeable, bordering naive. Very slim selection. Vintage watches had
only 36 entries.
For selling, I stick with established forum Sales Corners where I have a
history and references.
For buying, if I want to take a chance, odd places like TIA and eBay to
find a misrepresented under-valued find.
Otherwise, I stick with trusted seller - anywhere.
