In a particular auction, I have a shipping charge of $333.33. (freight
item). I say then "free local pickup" in the text. Then I further say
that "no charges for local pickups, ever".

And yet I often receive emails like I did today, asking "if I pick up
in person, will I pay $333.33 charge".

My question is WTF, don't people read the descriptions or what?

Some can't or don't read but some others may be simply ensuring
that they correctly understand what you mean since shipping costs
and the wording of ads are sore points for many buyers.

For example, does "90% caffeine-free coffee" mean that they
removed 90% of the caffeine or does it mean that it's 90% coffee
and 10% caffeine?
