Actually my copyright atty shows me cases where
the courts have NOT upheld the "poor man's copyright"
mail yourself thingie.
I think(?) where it falls short is in the statuatory
rewarding of damages plus punative and other compensation
when you do file with the Lib of Congress.
That's how it works with songs, anyway.
One would surely be wasting time to file a copyright
for eBay ad copy.
