A lot of people seem to have already come to conclusions about Obama...
a tad premature IMO.

He speaks in complete sentences. Right there, he's a vast improvement.


Can't argue with that.

What somewhat concerns me is the high expectations a lot of people have.
I think theyre way too high. I'm expecting things to generally be a lot worse under Obama than with Bush - for different reasons and nothing to do with either's intellect (or lack of).


We're in such a deep hole, in so many areas, that it'll take years to restore the government, much less improve it. I just looked at http://judiciary.house.gov/hearings/printers/110th/IPres090113.pdf which gives an idea of the scope of the damage done in the past eight years. If Christ returned to earth, as some expect (Sarah Palin?), it would still take him years.
