There is nothing that you can do, unfortunately, but if the
transaction goes weill you will get money without problems.

Hi,
Would appreciate some help with this on behalf of my son - who is the
seller. He is a very honest person and has taken great care to
describe the item in detail - he even made a small movie clip which
show the item being demo'd. Here's what happened.
*After* the auction ended buyer asked about item condition and delayed
payment.
Buyer sent message saying a relative has paid on his behalf, and to
let him know the ending method and when.
Payment message then received from paypal "Payment has been received -
you can now post the item".
Then Paypal sent this...
***
Payment has been received - you can now post the item
Dear ***,
You've received a payment, detailed below. We've placed a temporary
hold on the funds for this transaction.
eBay and PayPal are working together to make it safer than ever to buy
on eBay. One of the boldest steps is to identify transactions that
pose the greatest risk of fraud and holding the payments from sellers
for a period of time to help ensure that the transactions go smoothly.
We'll release the payment for the eBay item if either of the following
occurs:
* The buyer leaves you positive feedback on eBay.
* It's been 21 days since the payment date and you haven't
received a
dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal on the transaction being
held
Additional hold period
If you receive a dispute, claim, chargeback, or reversal on the
transaction, we may hold the payment until the problem is resolved.

blah blah here
We will notify you by email when the funds are released. You can also
check the status of the hold in your Transaction History.
*** end of paypal msg. ***
Thing is, the buyer could leave negative feedback and papal has the
money! This is grossly unfair in this case as the item description is
meticuliuous (not just saying that).
Can you advise us what to do here please?
Thank you.
