Simple - As I phase out my eBay sales, I'll simply increase (pad) my BIN pricing to reflect the losses I experience on S/H. With the reduced listing fees, I can afford to put any price on the BIN.While there would be no deception with respect to the final selling price, there is deception by under pricing S/H that is padded in the BIN price. It's not different from having a low BIN with an inflated S/H where the profit is padded into the S/H.
How can you "pad" the price you set for selling an item? The price
you set is the price you set.
I'm hoping those who have always considered BIN + S/H as their cost is not be affected, but there may be an increase in potential buyers who think they are now getting something for nothing as "I" will be paying their shipping costs. If they are dumb enough to believe S/H is now "free" why should I care?
Meanwhile, the whole eBay selling package has discouraged me from selling, so as someone already pointed out, it's all become a moot point anyhow.
