The main reason I'm asking a bunch of smart-asses (and I mean this is
the best sense) is because I know ya'll have a lot more experience
with this, and if this wasn't an issue at all for hobby sellers, then
I would know to not rush to my accountant about this, but since it
looks like there may be an issue, I have already scheduled an
appointment for next week to make sure I have all my ducks in a row...
I don't take anything on here as the Gospel truth, but I can get a
general idea of what direction to search based on the responses.

BTW, I am in Alabama if that helps add to the question any (it would
also explain my accent if you were to hear me) :-)
