no, not even a significant percentage of it, I'm practicing now before I
retire,
so I can have a money making hobby that will alow me to travel the world
looking
for merchandise, and have the profits pay for the travel
I'm sure your sales are increasing as you raise prices, NOT
I didn't quadruple shipping, I raised it enough to cover the recent hikes,
and the [very likely soon] loss of power seller discounts due to
emboldened
buyers leaving unwarranted negs. Sales are better than average, I suspect
most buyers are not going to get shook up over a .40 price increase,
especially when other vendors selling the same or similar items charge
much
more than that to begin with.
Believe it or not, TRUE.
covering price increases is OK unless it hurts business, sometimes you have
to
eat an increase to keep the cash flowing while you adjust,
when I list somehting I check to see what it's going for, and especially
what my compettion is
charging for shipping, as a buyer I will pay a higher overall price for
reasonable shipping assuming that the seller if he's cheating
on shipping is more likely to be cheating on something else
sales have been up recently, I suspect it's the early tax filers using their
refunds,
with the dramatic decline in Americans income, thanks to the bush and his
conservative thieves,
and their outsourcing of good paying jobs or importing of cheap labor, a lot
of people are
qualifying for the earned income credit and are getting in excess
of $3000 back
you can use the price of gas as a selling point, depending on what you're
selling, it can be cheaper to have something shipped to you rather than
going out hunting for it
Stop playing holier than thou - You've got shipping raker written all over
ya.
I only rake foreigners, and only since the value of their money has gone up
and
ours has gone down, they don't see any difference
Oh yeah, a blatant piracy advoacate with scrupels and concern for others,
sure
it's not piracy, it's just business, nothing personal : Michael Corleone, Al
Capone,Exxon Oil, Halliburton, Toyota,
Merck, Pfizer,China,Korea
All Music coming from China is pirated, so is Tiffany,Rolex,Gucci,Louis
Vitton, and thousands of others, do
a search on Ebay and see if you can count how many Chinese, Hong Kong,
Singapore,and other Asian and Russian
sellers are selling trademarked and copyrighted material,
I'm not, I'd get arrested, but I don't pay for my music, they still owe me
for overpricing those
78's,33 1/3's, 45's and 8 tracks, I'm just getting even
.
