This is really unfair and I have to wonder where in the world you came
up with this idea? I have had several bad experiences as a seller and
those buyers deserved the neg feedback they got.

Buyer's win auctions. Buyer's leave negative feedback at their
leisure. Seller's negative feedbacks go up exponentially. Now...Buyers
don't buy from sellers anymore because seller's have too high of a
negative feedback rating. GREAT GOING EBAY. YOU JUST KILLED YOUR OWN
BUSINESS. LOL!!!!!!!!!

I already started moving my inventory to another place. Will
occasionally sell used stuff on eBay. Waiting when actions similar to
those taken against AT&T monopoly will be applied to eBay. Incredible
stupidity and greed!

I will no longer participate in eBay, selling or buying, unless the
recent announcment of changes is stopped. BOTH the feedback and the
fee changes.
# 323: Jan 31, 2008, James Barrett , Ohio
I was just starting to get into this. Now,...You have done something
stupid, and NAPSTERED e-Bay.

Leaving seller's completely defenseless save for buyers not responding
to disputes, is without question the most insanely ridiculous,
business busting screw up you have ever done. Even people in mental
institutions who read your FB policy are going "Dang, those folks are
crazy!" So now evertime some crackpot buyer decides he doesn't like
the color or packing tape used, he can leave a neg while the seller
sits their with his d..k in his hand??????????????????? Please tell me
you didn't actually pay someone to come up with this blunder. 1998.
1998 is when I started selling with you. 2008 is when it's ending.
This is too much, eBay, even for you.
# 320: Jan 31, 2008, Silvia Gatti , Italy
unfair to sellers !!!

In all my 7+ years on eBay, I have never seen them make a more narrow-
minded and careless decision than this! As if their stocks weren't bad
enough because of their poor management and recent changes with the
site...this feedback change and fee hike is going to sink eBay. Amazon
here we come!
# 317: Jan 31, 2008, Anonymous , Alaska
Count me out if I cannot leave feedback for buyers! That is
ludicrous!
# 316: Jan 31, 2008, C. Persampieri , Illinois
Seriously, just how much thought went into this change? not much I'm
guessing, how are we, the sellers supposed to leave accurate feedback
for our buyers? Keep the old system, it makes much more sense than
this new one.

Not being able to flag negative buyers is unfair, undemocratic and
biased. It must be reinstated!

Even though these moves were done under the guise of "customer
service", ebay forgets that sellers are their customers and we should
be treated accordingly. If not for the sellers there would be no
buyers. Not being able to rate buyers honestly is a slap in the face
to good sellers, who are in the majority here. Raising the fees and
restricting feedback - really great service, ebay!
# 312: Jan 31, 2008, Anonymous , California
I had been organizing several items to prepare for some serious sales
listings on ebay, but after recent news regarding the unfair feedback
policy, knowing that no matter how diligently I work to earn a
positive feedback rating, it can be ruined by bad buyers, I will be
going elsewhere. I have depended on a seller's feedback rating to
determine who I chose to buy from. Now that buyers have the freedom to
arbitrarily destroy sellers' reputations, I won't know who to trust.

Completely unfair to the Sellers!!

I am looking to sell on other sites. It's just getting too hard and
too stressful for sellers on ebay.

I for ONE is not happy!

ebay does not care about the sellers! I closed my store and will not
sell till ebay cares again! I will find somewhere else to sell!!!
# 304: Jan 31, 2008, Anonymous , Georgia
Please reconsider this entire feedback policy. It is totally unfair to
not be able to rate buyers. There are 2 sides to a successful
transaction. You are making ebay more and more just like any internet
purchase site instead of an auction site. FVF increases are also
unfair especially to small and occasional sellers. Return to the
original EBAY or lose all your sellers.
# 303: Jan 31, 2008, Maria Hagen , Michigan
I agree that the feedback policy needed to be revamped, but THIS is
what you came up with? This new FB policy is utterly useless &
ridiculous. I'll be finding a new way to sell my merchandise. You are
going to lose all of your good, honest sellers & buyers...you
seriously need to rethink the mess you've created. Sellers will leave
because we rely on the FB system--now it will be a complete free-for-
all with worthless neg FB for EVERY purchase that isn't FREE &
delivered within 10 seconds of the buyer pushing the PAY button.
Reasonable buyers rely on accurate FB on a seller's account to know
who they can trust to purchase from. NOBODY WINS WITH THIS NEW SYSTEM.
Pathetic.

HERE' HOW YOU KNOW WHO TO BLOCK: http://ebaybuyerblacklist.blogspot.com/
Add bad buyers to our list. Cut and paste the list to your blocked
buyer list.
