Ebay's FB system has a lot of merit in theory. Presently, the FB
system is used as a weapon by the seller. Retialiatory FB should be
grounds for NARU on the seller.
Actually that works both ways. It's just as easy for the buyer to use
feedback as a weapon - "Send me extras or I will neg you". As having as few
negs as possible is more important to a seller than a buyer this is heavily
weighted in favour of the buyer when you're talking about feedback abuse of
this nature.
Simple solution would be for Ebay to outlaw retaliatory feedback be it from
the seller in response to a deserved neg about their porr conduct or from a
buyer in retaliation from a neg for non payment. If Ebay stipulated that
retailiatory negging was grounds for removal then it would go along way.
However while it is easy to prove a retaliatory buyer neg as there will be a
complete unpaid item dispute on file, it is almost impossible to prove a
retaliatory seller neg.
