eBay needs to have an interactive transaction-based questionnaire for
the seller and the buyer. Based upon a short series of questions,
each party would input information concerning the transaction. The
software would evaluate if an open dispute would be appropriate or
provide feedback ratings and automatically post them for both parties.
If either party didn't complete the questionnaire, the default would
be a generic positive feedback. Completed questionnaires would
generate feedback based upon the answers given by each party. Of
course, this would apply to neutral and negative feedback as well.
Think those eBay programmers are up to the challenge? Hmmm...
Many buyers and sellers are just "strange". Many are professional whiners,
just look at some of the posts here. It looks to me like this would just
make a bigger mess.

Oh, I grant you that the wheel was also a fine invention, but the wheel does
not go nearly as well with pizza.
