Weird, just yesterday, they were selling stuff. Do you know what
happened? I will miss them, though not too much.
eBay has been suspending sellers by the thousands based on buyer bitches for
the last month or so. It looks like they are basing it all on 90 day
performance. It looks like eBay manglement is bound and determined to make
their living off of Skype and Paypal.
Well, I think that in case of Bargainland, suspending them is a good
thing. They need to straighten out their combined shipping (they
always mess it up), packing, etc. I have no objection to them not
describing their stuff correctly, that, to me, is part of the game.
The suspensions are giving people 14 days to go back and "fix" their negs
and disputes. Yeah, right.
The stars and feedback look more and more like annual performance reviews
and the suspensions look like employee suspensions without pay. The just a
venue stuff is going to take a real pounding here real, real soon.
Unless there are large institutional investors that own large chunks of
their stock they can do whatever they want to do. It is their playpen.
Well, I have to disagree with the presumption that suspending bad
sellers is going to have a negative effect on their business.
