One thing I really hate about eBay is that the sellers have the
advantage. If I buy an item and it is not as advertised, the only
recourse I have it to pay to ship it back and let the seller keep the
original shipping charge. Most sellers overcharge for shipping, so it
is often not worth sending an item back.
I am puzzled about a recent purchase. I bought an electronic item
that was described as "excellent condition" and included two
accessories in the listing, comm cable and power cable. When I got
the item it had dents on three corners like it had been dropped
multple times, the screen had a scratch and it would not power on!
The accessories were really just one, a combo cable which is not what
I wanted. I looked at his feedback in more detail and I see he bought
the combo cable just before this auction. So he didn't have a power
adapter at all in the first place and may have never turned the unit
on.
You are obviously an eBay newbie. Best read up on buying before you bid on anymore items.
