It does suck to have anyone see what your items sold for but to change
it from 30 days by doing a completed search going to now 90 days back
with titles showing can't be good for anyone except the people who
think they can go & find the items to try & sell themselves. In the
last 10 years this has the rank up there as 1 of the worst things that
have been changed. Personnally i'd rather see a rate increase than to
have what i think is private information on my sales become more
public.

Finally, another person with a brain here.
I knew the law of averages would catch up some time.
You are 100% right, there is no reason whatsoever that the average
person should have such info at their disposal from an easy glance.

I don't know about that. Suppose that as I buyer I want to buy a widget
from you. You have 3 up for auction right now with bids ranging from
$10 to $15.

If I know that you usually have 3 or 4 widgets up for auction and that
some have gone for as little as $2, that's a pretty good reason to have
that info. I now know I can forego your current auctions and place a
bid for $2 or $3 on a future one. If I'm patient I'll eventually win an
auction for that amount.

You have pretty much made my point, and repeated almost exactly what I
wrote in the OP.
Good for buyers and good for sellers are two entirely different things.
There is no reason to make this nearly private info available at a click -
And if you see sellers driven away by this policy as a result of decreased
profits, that is going to restrict the competition instead of promoting it,
a state of affairs not good for buyers.
