A rodent poison is a product designed to kill rodents. A product
containing a chemical that is used *in* a rodent poison is not a

A chemical that is a rodenticide is not necessarily poison.
Calciferols, for example, are rodenticides...poison to rodents.
However, you made take some form of calciferols every day under the
more common description of Vitamin D, D2, or D3.

Your cat can ingest Vitamin D and not be harmed. Your dog, however,
might develop severe complications and might die.

It's just cat & dog poison.

Do you have to work at it, or are you naturally disingenuous? The dog
food contained a chemical that is a chemical used in some rat poisons.
That alone does not make the dog food a poison.

There are many products that we ingest that contain chemicals that
are poisonous. They only poison us, though, when the concentration of
the chemical or a combination of chemicals become such that there is a
lethal dose.
