Thanks, but as I mentioned earlier that the manual does cover this. It has
2
slots, and tells you you can use both, but that both have to be the same
voltage and clock speed. I have yet to see any site mention anything about
clock speed.

I just looked up my laptop on the Kingston site. It says my laptop
came from the factory with:

Standard Memory: 256 MB (Removable)

Maximum Memory: 1 GB

Expansion: 2 Sockets

CPU & ChipSet: Intel Celeron 1.5 GHz Intel 845MZ

That last line is telling the clock speed of the CPU and ChipSet for
the RAM that came in the laptop from the factory. Hopefully they have
similar info for your computer.

Good luck!

Well something like that. I checked Toshibas site, it lists the RAM they
would sell for this, then went to Kingston, found the one they said would be
right, then found the one at New Egg that has the matching OEM #'s for this
model. PITA but I guess it should be the right one. The more I read the more
confusing and frustrating it gets, but at least this one says on 2 different
sites that it is the right one. Will soon find out.
