Hi, I sold a GE portable radio on Ebay a couple weeks ago. It was in
very good condition and I packed it very well. Well yesterday I got an
email from the buyer and here is the text:

"I intend to leave neutral to negative feedback concerning this item.
The question was asked whether there were a dent in the grill. You said
there wasn't. In reality, the entire grill is pushed in on the left
side. I wanted a near-mint radio and was willing to pay for the best I
could get. In fact, my maximum bid on your unit, thinking it was as
near mint as I might find, was $120. If I list this to resell it (so I
can look for a bit better one), I will disclose the dent, and I will
lose money. The unit sounds excellent, and I am enjoying it very much,
but I might not have purchased it with the dent.

I am not inordinately upset, but I have been putting off leaving
positive feedback when this important disclosure was left out. I
believe a court of law would say that a reasonable person would have
been well aware that the grill was dented in."

He told me today that the package was not damaged in shipping. Here
are a couple pics of the radio that he took to prove the "damage" that
he was refering to:

How do I respond if he in fact does leave me neg or neutral feedback?
I think he is nitpicking extremely, especially since he states that the
radio is in great working order and he is enjoying it.

thanks,
CTV

Tell him that you're sorry you misdescribed the item, and that
you will give him a FULL refund upon return of the item in the
same condition *he* described it.
