For instsnce a clock may have no bidders
yet the starting bid is 100.00.
Isn't no reserve the same as no starting point???
Nope--all auctions have to have a starting point, even if it's just
$.01. They might or might not also have a reserve. F'rinstance,
clock might have a starting price of $100 with no reserve, or itmight
have a starting price of $100 with a $200 reserve.bidders,
The theory is that people are more likely to bid if they see a low
starting price, so you set the starting price low to attract
and then set the reserve at the minimum you're willing to actuallylet
the thing go for. Alternatively, you just set the starting bid atthe
minimum you're willing to sell for, and don't bother with areserve.

What is your rec. for selling
I'd like to get rid of the items but I don't really enjoy the idea of
spending all that time and money to give them away for a penny.
I guess my question is.If your items aren't nrmally searched for hot
items IE art deco lamps or ipods would you chance the auction by
not setting a resrve....or a starting bid?
