where do you put it?
What is the whole filter line?

yeah, just right click on whatever message it is you want to
delete. click on "author - address only" and take out everything
before @google.com. then click ok, or whatever. after that,
anyone who posts using an address that contains "@google.com"
will be deleted from your newsreader. or marked read if you so
choose.

I have vs 1.93. I guess you have a newer version?

i have v. 1.92.

Mine doesn't have 'author - address only' in it. Just Subject,
Author, and Lowercase.

there's not a drop-down menu?

david

I get a drop down menu with "Filters" as an option. Under that I get:
Add Kill file
Add Watch file
--
Open Filters Window
Apply Filters

When I open the Add Kill file, I get a box that has the option of
adding subject and author or lowercase.

I can add an author as: author: @rr.com, which will kill anyone whose
reply-to address is @rr.com, but not yours since you used @gmail.com.
It won't kill all the google users, only those who choose a google
reply-to address.

Oh well, back to the drawing board. I'll just keep kill filing the
subjects.

But that's just my opinion.
