Shilling does not work on eBay.
Which is not the same thing as "Shilling does not exist on eBay.".
Shilling does exist on eBay, because too many sellers
don't grasp that it doesn't work, and enough of them are
clumsy about it that bidders see the shilling (and see
shilling where it isn't actually happening).
Apparently, there is money to be made in teaching people
that shilling doesn't work. eBay makes most of it.
