Don, your Ebay advice is great but your 30:1 profit ratio is a little
silly. Do you expect your auto dealer to make that? Your food store?
Anything you buy on a regular basis? Its fine to aim high, but if one
does lots of volume, one can make far more money than waiting and
waiting for your 30:1 golden goose to flutter in. 99% of the business
world makes their money in a far different world.

You're absolutely right about Don's 30:1 ration being a little silly. I
have taken the liberty of adjusting it to reflect the current rate of
inflation while still being independent of the prime interest rate. What I
have come up with, and we use the updated figure religiously for our
business model, is 43.674573446:1. You might round this off to the nearest
ten-thousandth if you aren't too concerned about accuracy.

The 30:1 will still work for an experienced professional.
Beginners and part timers, of course, should seek out a MUCH HIGHER sell/buy ratio
