Thanks for the quick response. I was insured up to £100 per item as there
was 3 boxes it was not insured for loss 3 boxes @ £100 each.
The courier said that as he had signed for it as in good condition as it
says where you sign. If there was that amount of damage to the hifi then
it would show on the outer package and therefore would be advised to sign
as unchecked where I would have been insured.
....and the courier *always* tells you to "sign here" and you do,
without reading the fine print while you're standing at your doorway
and boxes being shoved at you.
