Re: Is my postage charge too high?

I recently sold an item to a UK customer who asked for it to be sent by Special Delivery.

I charged him £5.50 for this. The actual postage cost was £4.25 and the £1.25 was for the postal packaging, time to prepare and take the item to the post office etc.

The buyer has contacted me wanting a refund of the £1.25 because he feels this is excessive, and is telling me he will give me a negative feedback because I am not willing to do this.

I do not state anywhere on my action that I only charge actual postage costs and I think that £1.25 is not excessive for the time and effort in preparing the order.

I'm looking for some advice on how you would deal with this situation.

Thanks,

We have a one million dollar minimum postage fee on all UK shipments.

This works for us.
