make CC-funded PayPal purchases using single-use
CC numbers obtained from their CC issuer.
It's worth learning how to do this, even if you decide you
don't need to for PayPal, because any number of other
ecommerce sites are substantially less secure than PP.
The principal risk to your CC # is not as data in transit on
the internet, but once stored on the merchant's system.
