Wrong. There are thousands of other usenet archives besides Google
and using Google is NOT the "dominant posting interface". Most people
who use usenet still use news readers rather than a webpage.

In 1995, Deja News was created to provide a user-friendly interface to
Usenet.

Wrong. Deja was an *archive*. Adding a user-friendly interface was
an afterthought.

There's one even worse than Google: talkaboutnetworks.com. Their
ONLY content is usenet, and their TOS claims that they "own" what
we've written (ie, we'd have to ask them for permission to quote
ourselves).

We're feeding the spam-troll, though

I've figured out a way to do a post-download purge not only of the spam-trolls
but also of any responses to them.
