Somebody will lose here. Not your, not the buyer. I am not sure if it is
Paypal or the Credit Card bank or visa/mc.

My case was similar, but I benifited from it.

Somebody stole my credit card# and made one online purchase. I called the
credit card company, reported lost card. They issued a credit. I called the
online company, and they verfied it is a stolen card, so they refunded it
right away. So I got 1 chargeback and 1 refund. Nobody later charges me
again, so I end up some free money. I think the issuing bank put a small
percentage of all transactions into an insurance fund to cover this kind of
problem.
