Non-Payers

I have had four non payers the last couple of months which is a lot for
me since I don't sell that much. I reported one and re-listed the item
and sold it for more the second time around. I got a negative feedback
in retaliation for reporting that one and now it appears I have three
more non payers.

I have a bit over 300 positive feedbacks so far and the one negative
has not hurt any as far as I can tell. If I report the three latest
ones, I will likely be getting three more negatives. If potential
buyers don't read the feedbacks and my responses to them, it will look
pretty bad having four negatives over a couple of months.

Is this really much of a problem? Should non payers always be reported
regardless of the consequences?

There is really not that much money involved. I just hate people who
bid and don't follow through.
