And with the proper options available for sellers/buyers, eBayers will most
certainly be able to take responsibility for their actions. I'm not sure where
in my reply, you got the impression that I wrote anything to the contrary.

Without even giving them a chance to make a payment? Do you do this right after
the auction end, or wait a certain amount of time before this person is
considered persona non grata in your opinion?

So essentially you believe that eBay's ID Verification isn't as important as
eBay and some posters on this thread, believe it is? So we're in agreement.

It's pretty apparent we're on the same page here. We both agree that we each
deal on ebay in the manner that suits us and makes us comfortable. That said, I
am taking control of my situation, by refusing to allow eBay to strong arm me
into using PayPal, or ID Verification against my wishes. Not controlling my
situation would be simply capitulating to their wishes.
