LOL, OK now I see what your getting at. That's what I meant. I guess it was
not coming out right. I guess I was using the wrong terms. I have used 2
different "news Feeds". Earthlink I "think" has it's own, the other I used
was with a local ISP here that used "Super News". I had assumed you could
buy feeds from Super News your self if your ISP did not include them, but
did not realize you could still use Outlook if you did it that way. I
thought you also would have to use another Reader as the only way I have
ever set up anyone's "news account" was with the feed coming from the ISP. I
am FAR from being any kind of expert at this, but that was what I was trying
to say was I "think" you could use AOL, as your ISP, and still use Usenet,
but you would of course have to pay for it, unless you use Google, which the
last time I tried it at work, is almost as good as a reader now. The last
time I was using them the posts came right up instead of hours or a day
later like it used to, so I "guess" if someone for some reason is scared to
drop AOL, they could still use Usenet without much trouble. Just have to
learn the way Google works, as it is, or at least was, a little "different",
from the way I am used to doing this with Outlook.
Now that should be clear as mud? <G>
