Thanks... after using it, I think I will purchase the registered version. I
am trying a demo version of the program right now. There are a few things
that could have been implemented better, but overall, I think the price
point and features put it at the top of the heap. Have you dealt with or
found solutions to:
- Inventory from TurboLister is buggy and does not work. Not a problem
since I manually transferred almost all by now
- Presently MarketBlast does not support the 'create a listing with
pre-filled information' functionality that eBay offers. I am told this is
upcoming.
- The integration with Flickr seems to be a little buggy. When I tried to
download my images from Flickr, I got 100 images from another account. I
think the demo account only uses a demo Flickr account
- References to eBay Stores are not able to be surpressed if user does not
have a store.
- Inventory description field feeds listing description field, so if HTML
is used in the inventory field, it displays in the table view, making table
view useless because of the visible HTML tags
- MarketBlast does not seem to be consistent in displaying premium listing
charges for functionality in MarketBlast. For instance, if you use any
template other than the 'Custom' ones (MarketBlast) the program does not
tell you that you are using eBay's templates and incurring additional
listing charges. However, if you choose to schedule an auction start time,
you are alerted that this uses eBay functionality and may incur additional
charges.
- So far can't find a place to input standard terms of sale which would
apply to all listings. Does this need to be entered for every single
auction?
- User can duplicate a listing, but not an inventory item. Why doesn't
duplicating a listing create an inventory item?
- Right-click context sensitive actions (cut, copy, paste) do not work
within most text entry fields. Keystrokes do work, but I would think this
would be easy to implement, and essential, since most people can't remember
the keystrokes.
Any lessons learned that you would care to share?
