Speaking only for myself, if I got such an e-mail I would first get the
sender onto the local block list, and then put him on my personal list of
"people not to buy from."

It might also get your account suspended, if someone reported it:

Best just to list your item. If they're still looking for one, they'll do
an ebay search and find yours the same way they found the other one.
