What I didn't know is that she also needed neutering

Shoulda read the entire listing, Kris. ;-)

None of those problems were listed; only the hernia. I could have taken her back for "health reasons", but hell....I was in love with her before I adopted her.

So last night while she was in the doggie hospital,
we went out and bought three dog beds for her.

Big mistake. Soon you'll have to fill the two empties.

No. One's a car bed. One's for down here in the office....and the other's in our bedroom. The two cats get their own beds back.

I have five snakes and three lizards. Haven't needed a vet in six years. Water the snakes once a week, toss in rodents once a month, change litter ten days after feeding. The lizards need food and water about every 3-4 days. No walking, no barking, no scratched furniture, no hair balls.

We had pet birds. Nasty, dirty, biting birds. I wasn't sorry when the last one died.

Our daughter had a pet snake, and it kept the MIL
away (great pet!) We went to the theater one night,
got up the next morning, and found it dead and stiff.
I have to admit that one of the funniest things I've ever
seen, was my husband digging a five-foot long (but
only 4" wide) trench in the January-frozen soil.
