Who does your shipping?  Is this a big operation and you have a lot of
employees?  It sounds that way, after all you have a "loss control man".

Maybe you have an internal problem. I'd recommend installing a couple color
cameras and a digital video recorder in your shipping area. It may help
your refund problem by identifying internal problems. I agree with Kris
though, more analysis is needed to get a better handle on your problem.

The problem is that returns/refunds from eBay customers are rising
dramatically compared to the OP's other venues. I don't see why
"internal problems" would cause that, unless eBay orders are shipped
separately from other shipments. Then there might be a rotten apple in
the eBay department.


Which is why I suggested more statistics.   If they're selling a higher
percentage of product on eBay than elsewhere, it stands to reason
that a higher percentage of problems would be associated with eBay
shipments.

Anyone can do a chargeback - so there has to be an added reason
why the eBay shipments are riskier.
