ON TOPIC! Right to work state...are you in one?

Im in Florida, a right to work state. And yes...down here "everyone"has a
right to work. Everyone has a right to strike.
Everyone has a right to fire, everyone has a right to not hire.

Level playing field.
Obviously this works better when you don't have 10,000 employees.

The benefits I have gotten is I'm 44 and on my 14th job.
Iv'e worked at one place for 7 days, I worked at another 9 years. Fired
once, quit 12, laid off once.
What has made this good for me is I can usually get a job in a few days
max. Even during the "depression" when I got canned and there was NO work, i
found work in less than 2 weeks. Because in a right to work state there is
always work somewhere.
Iv'e gotten quite a few jobs from companies that literally didnt need
anyone, but good people are hard to get, so they made room considering its
so easy to hire and fire people IN NON UNION SHOPS.

I still have all the rights and protections the northern fat cats get, it's
just that "i dont own my job, and the union doesnt own me". There's no rules
about union cards, or journeymen papers, etc...IT'S ALL YOUR REPUTATION AND
NOTHING ELSE!.

Now convince me why I need a union to get me a job?
Why I should pay some non working union folks my money so they can funnel
it to the democrats for election time? Why should I be forced to strike
because my union is greedy and willing to bite the mouth that feeds them?

Work is coming to these states like crazy for LOTS of reasons. One big
reason is the workers, they are happy to have good jobs and wont go on
strike, they will quit if it sux. No strike fear....jeesh, who the frig
wants to run a buissiness with that looming over their heads.
Bottom line here is the best workers go to the best places.

So keep your union crap jobs, keep yourselves bunched together with non
skilled workers, and keep your government up there, we dont want none here.
Nobodys sending my work to china anymore, they just cant get the quality,
delivery date, and security they need for skilled labor.

And as far as illegal immagrants here...you need proof of citizanship to get
a job here, its the law. Same all over the USA. There's no mexicans stealing
my non union job.

How many actual machinists are in the machinists union...5%? Most are line
workers, assemblers, etc...
LOW SKILLED LABOR! Why bunch yourselves together with them? The whole idea
of having a skill is you have personal power...then to give it away?
