There ain't no SS that hard.There is to much chrome in it as well as
tungsten.
SS is about as hard as H-13, another tool steel you are ignorant of.
S-7 maybe, it's properly hardened and tempered to 57 RC, but not
stainless.
Also, you haven't done anything a million times.
Well, maybe make excuses but that doesn't count.
