I heard Boeing is having trouble getting the North Carolina plant
going. She works at the Long Beach Ca plant and says the word is they
need better technical people.
Anybody know what they are doing there and if they might have openings
for ME, TD, or CNC programmers or is it just an assembly plant.
I thought Boeing stoped making their own parts years ago and they just
design and assemble?
7 pages of jobs here, but none in NC

Getting a response from their bizillion resumes in their database is
impossible since they don't look in it when they have a open position.
Type in Machinist or NC Programmer and... Zero hits. You are correct in knowing that Boeing does mostly assembly, not machining as a percentage of work. There appears to be a couple openings in inspection and one in CNC repair of some sort in Portland.
