So you're gaming credit card companies to make a buck and complaining
about them doing the same thing to you.

Were you born a hypocrite or did you take lessons later in life?

I'm not scamming them, they made the offers, I simply accepted their offer
as stated.

But now, after making a deal based on a "life of the balance" terms, they
want to raise the interest to 7.9%, or shorten the "life" of the balance
from 5 years to 2.
