They don't have the batteries and don't know when they will.
You ought to hear their people describe the performance characteristics of
what is essentialy vaporware in vehicle form.

Tesla wouldn't. Ever seen their set up? They use a couple thousand cells.
As for the EV1 design, it might but you'd think GM would select something
before offering details about range, speed and service.
GM is providing those details but hasn't settled on a battery technology.
It's only when someone pins their ears back that they admit this.
