That is a real puzzle. But whatcha gonna do when the plaque is there?
Get the LDL very low & the HDL up & it slowly reverses in many
cases it seems.
BTW, Old stable plaque does not seem to be a real problem
(except for causing angina perhaps).
It's newer or unstable plaques that can rupture & cause a clot.
Check with the cardiologists ...
