Polygonal Turning

I have never used polygonal turning before, can anyone HELP? I'm on a
Lynx 220 LM With "c" axes and live tooling, I need to cut a 7/16" Hex
on the end of some inconel 718.
Every time it comes to reading the G51.2 I get an alarm# 2028 "spindle
rotation condition not ready" AARRGGHHH!
