It wasn't a trick, it was a lesson, pay attention. IMO your reading
way too much into it Bob. It was not a lie or a trick. It didn't have
anything to do with trying to get students to lockstep and not think
for themselves. It is a simple basic lesson that will serve them well
in life, pay attention and in particular pay attention to details.
