Yeah, you're into trails alright! My daughter was totally stoked watching the trials event with me and wants one too. I remember the Cota 49. Cute, but she's too big for that. There's some intermediate size bikes that would fit her, but she's got to learn to ride first. Just bagged her a somewhat ratty XR80, a perfect beginner bike. Nobody's going to get upset when she dumps it, it's already pre-dinged... lol.

My brothers both have 70's vintage Sherpas, but both like the motor on the 348. Heavy? Relative... I entered a national enduro on a 300lb Ducati 350 in the 70's. The 348 is svelte by comparison. But the new bikes, wow! They are just amazing. It was something to watch riders scale near vertical granite walls up to 3 meters high from a dead stop just a couple meters away. Or bunnyhop a 90 degree turn right next to a 10 meter cliff.
